Hypnosis For Stress: Three Questions to Ask Yourself

Stressed on the job

Naturally relaxing, hypnosis is ideal for stress management and stress reduction. However, to get the maximum effect, before your appointment, there are three questions you should ask yourself.

(1) How long have you been feeling stressed? A few days? Weeks? Months? Or longer?

(Note: long-term stress can affect physical health. So, if it’s been months or longer, get a checkup at your doctor.)

(2) Are you stressed about a specific, upcoming event (e.g., a divorce or work-related event)? Or are you stressed because of something ongoing (e.g., a demanding job, a troubled marriage, or health issue)?

(3) When do you feel most stressed? Early mornings before work? (Or waking up, stressing in the middle of the night.) At work? At home?

If you know that you’re stressed about the job or about an upcoming event (a meeting or presentation, etc.), and you feel stressed in the early mornings, consider a “Morning De-Stress & Prep Hypnosis” (6-7 AM EST Mondays and Thursday) to start your day off with clam, confidence, and clarity. These are shorter and more focused hypnosis sessions, ideal for tackling a single, work-related cause of stress.

If you’ve been feeling stressed for a while, are feeling stressed throughout the day, or aren’t sure why you feel stressed, opt for a regular, longer, stress hypnosis session. This will allow us to dig deep into the cause(s) and think about any practical steps you might be able to take, before going into hypnosis.

Regardless of what type of session you choose, I will also teach you one or two simple, discrete relaxation techniques that you can do anytime you have a stressful event coming up or when you need an extra hypnosis boost.
