Hypnosis for Confidence Study:
A randomized control trial, using self-hypnosis and self-care, conducted by the University of Liège in Belgium, “showed the efficacy” of “hypnosis-based intervention” in boosting self-esteem.
No less than “33% of the improvement of self-esteem and 41.6% of the decrease of emotional distress” in participants was believed to have been facilitated by the hypnosis/mindfulness practices experienced during the trial period.
Participants in the study (who were cancer patients) would meet every two weeks, after performing certain specified tasks at home, and at the end of each bi-weekly meeting, would experience a 15-minute hypnosis exercise. Participants were also encouraged to practice self-hypnosis at home.
Your Hypnosis Session:

For the first half of your session, we’ll discuss your situation, when and why your lack of confidence started, and how it’s been holding you back. And, of course, we’ll explore your goals and what you’d like to achieve with the aid of hypnosis.
Then I’ll guide you into hypnosis. The actual hypnosis part of the session is usually 30 minutes or a little longer (depending on how much ground we can cover in the first half of the session).
Lastly, I’ll show you a simple self-hypnosis practice to do at home whenever you want a hypnotic boost.
