Do you wake up at night, feeling stressed?
Do you feel a sense of tension first thing in the morning?
Do you find yourself not taking action and just letting things build up each month—month after month?
If so, hypnosis is an ideal way to manage and reduce stress and tension—and help you get back in control of your life.
There are many reasons why you might feel stressed for a period of your life. These include health issues, marital or family problems, business challenges, work pressures, moving house, exams, or any significant lifestyle change.
As you already know, far from helping the situation, stress and tension only contribute to the problems, making us less able to cope and less effective in our daily lives.
Typical physical signs of stress include
- Poor sleep.
- Waking in the early morning (already feeling tense).
- Headaches and migraines.
- Body aches.
- Stomach issues.
Typical mental and emotional responses to stress include
- Poor concentration.
- Poor memory.
- Lack of confidence.
- Lack of motivation.
- Feelings of helplessness.
- Nervousness.
Stress can cause people to take up excessive snacking, smoking, vaping, or excessive drinking or marijuana use, all of which can lead to further problems.
Long-term stress can also lead to a weakened immune system and even serious health problems. For this reason, it’s best to deal with stress earlier rather than later.
Don’t let stress fester, making you less and less effective in your work and home life and putting you at risk for other, consequential problems.
Schedule your session today to begin managing and reducing your stress and tension and to begin regaining the confidence to take action to make your life the best it can be.
Three Hypnosis & Stress Studies:
Many studies have shown that hypnosis is a powerful tool for reducing stress and tension. This isn’t perhaps surprising, as most people find the experience of hypnosis very relaxing. Hypnosis can, of course, be used in a wide variety of situations. Here are three:
One study by the University Hospital of Liège, Belgium, found that compared to other stress-reduction methods used, medical patients who received hypnosis had “significantly lower” stress before and after surgery.
Another study of stress in pregnant mothers, by the University of Reims, France, found that there was a “significant” decline in stress “during the hypnosis phase” of the study. Other, related, positive effects related to a reduction in tension were shown. These included a lowered heart rate and “clear reductions” in “Uterine contractions and maternal systolic blood pressure.”
Again, the Medical College, Baroda, India, conducted a study of the effects of hypnosis on medical students suffering from stress during their exam period. The study found significant improvement in the coping ability of students who underwent hypnosis as compared to other students who used alternative coping methods.
Your Hypnosis Session:
Hypnosis is an ideal method for stress management and reduction because, as the Western Journal of Medicine defines it, “Hypnosis is the induction of a deeply relaxed state, with increased suggestibility and suspension of critical faculties.”
My hypnosis work isn’t a medical practice or therapy. It’s about helping you achieve your goals. But, as you can see from the journal quoted above, the very practice of hypnosis is a way of getting rid of tension and of beginning to control and reduce your feelings of stress.
Your session is two hours long. We’ll connect remotely, via Zoom, so you can have your session from the comfort of your home. (No time-wasting travel. No waiting and stressing in some waiting room.)
I nearly always give clients a self-hypnosis practice to do at home. When it comes to stress management and reduction, I will also show you other useful techniques.
For the first half of your session, we’ll discuss your situation, why you’re stressed, and how that stress is affecting your life. We’ll also explore how you can begin to take back control of your life once you’ve begun to experience stress relief through hypnosis.
Then I’ll guide you into hypnosis. The actual hypnosis part of the session is usually 30 minutes or a little longer (depending on how much ground we can cover in the first half of the session). When you’re in hypnosis I will give you hypnotic suggestions to help you begin to manage and reduce the stress and tension you’ve been feeling and to help you take back control of your life.

“Working with Angel was great. I wasn’t sure what to expect for my first experience with hypnosis, but was immediately at ease and comfortable. Angel is a great listener and a calming presence.”—Stephanie Chuang.
“I wasn’t sure what to expect but he walks you through it and makes you feel super comfortable, asking what’s going on in your life, and gets some background information before he really plunges into the hypnosis itself. Overall, it’s just a really positive experience. It just feels really good. It feels really enlightening. It feels like you have a kick-start into the new chapter of your life. And I think that’s kinda what I was looking for.”—Amanda Maiorano.
